About Me

Thank you for visiting.

I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, Iowa (Since Aug 2020). Prior to that I was a postdoctoral researcher at Genesys Lab, Northeastern University, Boston, USA with Prof. Kaushik Chowdhury (May 2019-Aug 2020). I defended my Ph.D. at IIIT-Delhi, India, under the guidance of Dr. Vinayak Naik and Dr. Sanjit Kaul (Dec 2012-May 2019). My thesis title is "Understanding the Role of Active Scans for their Better Utilization in Large-scale WiFi Networks".

I work broadly in systems. My research interests are in general pervasive and ubiquitous computing with particular focus on networked systems, large-scale WiFi networks, Internet-of-Things, Cyber Physical Systems, Mobile Computing, and Mobile Health.

I love to see and demonstrate things working in-the-wild.
